about me
I am Marina,
a creative thinker, designer, and maker.
I don’t like labels, but for clarity, I like to call myself a mother, human, and artist.
In 2009, I graduated from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion & Design.
During this program, I participated in an Honors program.
I have been working in the fashion industry for almost 15 years.
In 2020, everything changed.
Not only did I bring my son into the world during a chaotic time,
but I also gave birth to a new creative chapter in my life
and launched my creative studio.
This studio is where I bring my vision to life, on my own terms.
It is a great joy to chase and fulfill all my creative ambitions, passions, and dreams.

Every piece I create comes from my heart.
I find inspiration in the romance and simplicity of everyday life:
The sun on the flowers, the wind in the trees, misty mornings, and dark nights.
Life and creativity are some of the greatest gifts,
and I feel blessed to transform the beauty of our existence,
the world, and the nature around us into (applied) art: work born from love.
I specialize in capturing, translating, and creating ‘stories’ of value.
I believe in taking my time to make each piece with care and attention,
so that the final work has quality and longevity.

All of my work is handmade or carefully digitally designed,
and I use a variety of materials and techniques, including:
acrylic paint, ecoline ink, pastel pencils, analog photography, and digital drawing tools.
I create on request for both individuals and businesses,
from personal birth announcements to commercial products.
Not the usual, but personal and real.
Perfectly imperfect. Just like us.
Beauty lies in those little imperfections, where originality gives the work character.
